Terms of Service
By creating an account or using Curblane, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. What Curblane is
Curblane is a subscription web app that helps Turo hosts track fleet operations and finances — true-net profit, tolls, parking, bookings, maintenance, and related insights. Curblane is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Turo Inc. "Turo" and other marks belong to their respective owners. You are responsible for complying with Turo's own terms and policies; nothing in Curblane changes your relationship with Turo.
2. Not financial, tax, or legal advice
Curblane provides operational tooling and estimates for your convenience. Figures (including "true net," projections, and cost breakdowns) depend on the data you enter and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Curblane is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. Verify important numbers independently and consult a qualified professional before making decisions.
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Provide accurate information, keep your login (magic-link email) secure, and you're responsible for activity under your account. One account per host unless we agree otherwise. Tell us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Plans, trials, billing & cancellation
- Free (Starter): up to 2 active vehicles, no charge.
- Trial: new accounts get a 30-day, no-credit-card trial of the paid (Fleet) features. When the trial ends without a paid subscription, the account moves to the Free plan (vehicles beyond the free limit become read-only; your data is retained).
- Fleet (paid): the price shown at checkout, billed monthly or annually, auto-renewing until cancelled. You authorize us (via our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your method on each renewal.
- Founding-host rate: if offered, the founding rate applies only while your subscription remains continuously active; if you cancel, the founding rate is forfeited and any later subscription uses then-current pricing.
- Cancellation: cancel anytime via the billing portal; access continues through the end of the paid period, after which the account returns to Free.
- Refunds: fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Price changes: we may change pricing prospectively with notice; changes don't affect the current paid period.
5. Your data & content
You own the business data you enter. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display it solely to provide and improve the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you input — including that you have a proper basis to enter any third-party information (e.g., guest names or trip details). You can export your data at any time. Data handling, retention, and deletion (including a 30-day window after account closure) are described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
Don't: use Curblane unlawfully or to violate others' rights; resell, sublicense, or provide the service to third parties as your own; reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service or its APIs; bypass usage limits or security; upload malware; or misrepresent your identity. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Service availability & changes
We aim for reliable service but don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, add, or discontinue features. We'll make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CURBLANE AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR $50 IF YOU PAID NOTHING).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your data, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law (including Turo's terms).
11. Termination
You may cancel anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the service. On termination, the data provisions of the Privacy Policy apply.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; we'll post the new effective date and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be brought in the courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
